Rectifieuse cylindrique Palmary GU32x100S Cylindrical Grinder 2022

This Palmary cylindrical grinder has barely worked. Palmary built it in April 2022 and the counter shows ten hours. Mechanically it matches a machine leaving the factory today, and the original tooling package comes with it — most of it still in its packaging.
Why ten operating hours matters
On a grinder this beats every other specification. The ways show no wear and the spindle bearings have not run in. Table geometry still holds its factory setting, because years of thermal cycling have not shifted it. Every accuracy figure Palmary published therefore still applies.
Compare that with a ten-year-old grinder at half the price. You save half the money, but you do not get half the machine — you inherit an unknown. Before you quote precision work on it, you first have to prove what it holds. That takes time, a test piece, and sometimes a hard lesson.
Capacity, precision and equipment
The machine takes 1,000 mm between centres, with 320 mm swing over the table and a maximum grinding diameter of 280 mm. Between centres it carries workpieces up to 100 kg. That covers shaft, spindle and roller work across the range most toolrooms and subcontractors see. The wheel head swivels ± 30° and the table 0–7°, so taper work goes straight on the machine.
Infeed resolves to 0.001 mm and each handwheel division reads 0.005 mm. A Mitutoyo KA-200 readout puts position on screen instead of leaving it to dial turns. Table traverse runs from 50 to 4,000 mm/min and the workhead turns from 10 to 300 rpm, infinitely variable — a combination built for finishing work with a specified tolerance and surface finish.
The package includes the Palmary PFA-80 coolant filtration unit, also 2022, rated at 80 L/min. Tooling covers a wheel balancing stand, dressing tools, spare wheels and flanges, workholding and a spare workhead spindle. The machine carries CE marking. You need no shopping list after delivery, and no accessory order holds up your first job.

A new machine in this class costs considerably more, with lead times running to months. Here you wait for a transport booking. The asking price is € 70,000 ex works, excluding VAT. The machine stands in the Netherlands and we can release it immediately.
